Feature Selection

In order to systematically choose a subset of features from the combined Haralick, Zernike, and ad hoc sets described above, the STEPDISC procedure in SAS (SAS Institute, Cary, NC, USA) was used. See Section 2.2.5 (p. ) for the details of this method.
