The ratio of the area occupied by protein to that occupied by DNA

The number of pixels in the binarized version of the protein localization image divided by the number of pixels in the binarized version of the DNA image.

The fraction of the protein fluorescence that co-localizes with DNA

The fraction of pixels in the binarized version of the protein localization image that overlap with pixels in the binarized version of the DNA image.
