Dataset

Option 1: Recreate all results from the original data

  1. Download the dataset (see link above) and source code.
  2. Open and edit randtag_init.m to reflect the location of the data folder.
  3. Run embs2009_run.m on Matlab to produce the tables and figures in the paper.

Option 2: Recreate all results from the feature files

  1. Download the intermediate results (see link above) and source code.
  2. Open and edit randtag_init.m to reflect the location of the intermediate results folder.
  3. Run embs2009_run.m on Matlab to produce the tables and figures in the paper. Comment: The code checks for the existence of these files. If you want to recreate the results from scratch, these folder intermediate results should be empty.

System requirements

  • Matlab version 7.0 or above
  • Matlab's Statistics Toolbox
  • Matlab's Image Processing Toolbox
