SImEC report for SImEC session started on 02-Jul-2001 16:10:42.

The Statistical Imaging Experiment Comparator has extracted features from two image sets and has performed multivariate and univariate analysis on these features in order to facilitate analysis and comparison of the sets. For more information regarding SImEC please click here.

A multivariate hypothesis test was performed using the null hypothesis "There is no difference between image set 1 and image set 2 when compared using the assigned set of feature variables". The results of this test are shown below. If the F value is greater than the critical value then the hypothesis can be rejected at the given significance level alpha.

Results
F value2.55437
Critical value1.43233

Image sets were found to DIFFER.
